Raise Awareness with Syilx Nation is a project created between my incredible friend Haven LeCaine and I, we wanted to create art in a way that the world would be able to hear the importance and severity of missing and murdered indigenous women (MMIW) and violence towards indigenous women, children and two-spirited people. This is an issue in Canada and all over the world that our society has turned a blind eye to for way too long. These incredible, strong women are standing in solitude for every stolen sister who didn't have the chance to speak her story.
